my life — my way

SCUBA

One of my hobbies is SCUBA diving. I started diving at University of Maryland when I took the SCUBA class they were offering. That ment getting up before 6am to make it to class, which is pretty hard for any college kid. But the class was fun and the instructor knew what he was doing. At the end of the semester I finished the class with a NAUI open water certification.

A few months later my family took a week vacation in Jupiter, Florida. My cousin and uncle are certified, so the three of us spent two days diving. These were my first real dives, which I really enjoyed.

Since then I've been diving up and down the East Costs of America and Australia. The Mike Ball liveaboard has been the best by far. A week of Australia is hard to beat. One of my life goals is to dive off each continent. Antartica is going to be hard.
