2007 Cruise - Sun
Our first full day at sea.
Olga and I started the day in style. Breakfast in bed. Yummy.
After breakfast we decided to go up to the seventh deck to run a few laps around the ship with Greg and Meredith. Olga ran, the rest of us did a walk/run combination thing. Running with them was pretty cool. Greg is training for a marathon, so it was nice to be able to encourage him while getting a little exercise myself. I learned that I've lost a LOT of my running abilities the last few months. That's probably because I quit running a few months ago.
Lunch time was spent in the little french restaurant. It was ok, because it wasn't french food being served. It was an all you can eat sushi lunch. Raw fish. Yummy.
Then it was time to face reality. As in last night. The ‘dancing’ to be specific.
Luckily for us one of the cruise activities was dance classes. I'm sure the other dancers on board were happy that we made time for these classes. Today's class was an easy dance. The Marange. It's all about shaking your hips. Olga was good as this. I wasn't. But I didn't step on her feet (too much), so I considered it a success.
The time between dance class was spent relaxing and reading and just chilling out.
Dinner was at the other main dinning hall. Another two desserts. Yummy.
My girl, being the awesome girl she is, took me to the top of the ship after dinner. We hopped into the hot tub for a few minutes. It started to rain pretty hard, so we moved from the hot tub to the ship's saunas. Ahhhhh...
The night was finished when the two of us hooked up with Greg and Meredith to play the bean game. It's a card game that is lots of fun, but takes a long time to play. I think we ended up playing for around four hours. That was one game.
