2007 Cruise - Mon
Another day at sea started out the way every day should start. Breakfast in bed with a beautiful girl.
Things were downhill from there. We walked a little with Greg and Meredith, then we hit the weight room. It felt good to get a few hours of weights in before a yummy bar-b-cue lunch.
After lunch the four of us headed down for our second dance class. Today's lesson was the Rumba. I felt a lot more comfortable with this dance than I did with yesterday's dance. I also found out that the man is supposed to lead the dancing. Apparently this was news to Olga and Meredith as well. We spent the rest of the week working on that concept.
When we were finished with the dancing, Greg and Meredith challenged Olga and me to ping-pong. We accepted the challenge, then went back to our room and took a nap instead. Apparently we don't do ping-pong.
Tonight's dinner was the formal night. All the guys were in suits. The women looked great too. My girl was mesmerizing.
Tonight's dinner was special. The menu had lobster. It also had beef wellington. What to pick? Most of us grabbed the lobster. Meredith was smart enough to order both. After we finished the lobster the guys ordered the steak. Two entrees all around. Yummy.
I also pulled a hat trick at dinner. Two appetizers. Two entrees. Two desserts.
Greg was impressed. We started laughing. We started joking around. We came up with the perfect idea. The Dinner Trifecta. The ship has three restaurants. We decided that on the last night we would have dinner at each restaurant. It would be glorious. And yummy.
Dinner was followed by a Broadway show and more quality time in the hot tub with my girl. I gotta say, this is the way to live.
