Another year, another adventure.

Such bad luck. Olga was assigned to go to a conference in Belgium. We both had some leave saved up. I had friends in London, just waiting to be visited and imposed upon. We decided that I would meet Olga after the conference and we would spend a week doing the highlights of Amsterdam, Belgium, France and London. Sometimes life can be so difficult and trying. I mean, we only had one week...

I tried to pack the Other Boy in my suitcase, but he wouldn't let me zip it up. When he grows up I never want to hear him say, "Father, when I was a youth you never put me in a suitcase with the intentions of taking me on a trans-Atlantic flight to the European continent."
