| Remarks |
There was a huge fan at 140 feet, which we decided to pass on. What we did was go to about 80 feet on a wall, check out some stuff and swim through a shallow lagoon area around 50 feet.
Since this was the naturalist dive we were supposed to identify some plants and animals. The plants were mainly algea. There were lots of animals. I took my video down, so I could identify what I had seen once I got back to the boat. This worked well, because Kerrin was able to look at the video and say, "That was a dart fish. It does this type of behavior." He knows a good deal about the animals and behaviors around here, which makes him a good teacher.
I had some boutancy problems at the end of this dive. I didn't let enough air out of my BC and ended up running into the bottom of the ship. If it wasn't there I probably would have surfaced without doing a good safety stop. Kinda sucked that the instructor watched me do it...
