A few months ago I was playing with some finger picking on my guitar. Just pickin and grinnin. Olga heard it and said she thought it sounded nice. Thus was born the inspiration for this song.
I ended up not using the finger picking in the recording. I wasn't happy with the recording quality (too much finger noise and the notes weren't clear enough).
I did end up keeping the main chord structure. I also threw in a chrod progression from my 'first' song - Fur Misheep (or something like that).
The working name was 'Silent Snow', because I started it back when it was snowing and everything looked peaceful and calm. When Olga heard the finished product she suggested that it sounded confident and patient. Hmmm, I wonder if I should give her credits for the title...
